Stanley is classically trained from the Conservatoire Nationale in Paris. He has played the title role in France 2’s LOUIS XV and appeared in the critically acclaimed THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. Other credits include Oliver Hirschbiegel’s BORGIA for Canal+, Claude Miller’s THERESE DESQUEYROUX with Audrey Tatou and Thea Sharrock’s HENRY V for the BBC. Most recently, Stanley has been seen in theatres playing the lead role in the independent feature, NOT ANOTHER HAPPY ENDING which closed the Edinburgh Film Festival, and PILGRIMAGE with John Bernthal and Tom Holland which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

His television work includes the second series of Starz/Amazon’s hit show, OUTLANDER and Sky/Amazon’s series, BRITANNIA with Kelly Reilly and David Morrissey. Stanley is currently be seen in the hit French series, DROPS OF GOD on Apple. He has just wrapped on Scott Frank’s MONSIEUR SPADE for AMC.
