Sonoya was introduced to audiences as Kyoko opposite Alicia Vikander and Oscar Isaac in EX MACHINA, Alex Garland’s directorial debut. Her other credits include Damien Chazelle’s multi-award winning LA LA LAND, ANNIHILATION with Natalie Portman, The Warner Brothers’ Box Office smash, CRAZY RICH ASIANS based on the cult novels of the same name and Netflix’s hit series MANIAC opposite Emma Stone and Jonah Hill from director Cary Fukanaga. She has most recently been seen playing the lead role in Alex Garland’s critically acclaimed series, DEVS for FX/BBC2 and in HBO’s new hit series, THE HOUSE OF THE DRAGON.

Sonoya has just wrapped on season 2 of HOUSE OF THE DRAGON and can next be seen in AM I OK opposite Dakota Johnson on HBOMax, which premiered at Sundance.
